Colusa Unified School District's English Learner Services are dedicated to meeting the educational needs of all students through high-quality instructional programs. Our English Learner (EL) programs aim to rapidly develop English language proficiency while maintaining students' cultural identities. We provide explicit instruction in listening, speaking, reading, and writing to ensure students acquire the necessary skills and knowledge for success in academic courses taught in English. ELs receive support until they are reclassified as Fluent English Proficient (RFEP), ensuring their seamless integration into mainstream education.
