DR. CHARLSEY MCDONALD - Director Of Physical Therapy/Certified Ortho-Therapist

Charlsey is a native New Mexican who received her Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from the University of New Mexico School of Medicine in 2011. She began her career at Lovelace in an acute care setting, followed by Presbyterian while simultaneously working in a private outpatient practice. "Dr. Char" brings valuable clinical experience from a variety of clinical settings to the practice. Dr. McDonald has a passion for manual physical therapy, sports-specific therapy, and being involved with the geriatric population. She also enjoys working with high school, college, and professional athletes. Dr. McDonald is level 3 dry needle certified and is Elite-OSM’s head dry needle expert, with plans to obtain her pelvic floor dry needle certification this year.

Her experience has been in geriatrics, pediatrics, and outpatient orthopedic settings. She has a passion for helping people live healthy and active lives and has maintained outstanding relationships with the best Orthopedic Surgeons in New Mexico as they trust her clinical judgment.

Dr. McDonald has served as the official Physical Therapist for the award-winning play, Matilda. She was asked to join them based on her reputation for outstanding clinical practice. She works as several stunt doubles in the film industry. She also serves the vast majority of the Albuquerque Fire and Rescue Department, as she has a passion for serving first responders in our community.

BRITTANY HOYE

Brittany Hoye graduated with honors from Pima Medical Institute with an Associate of Science in the Physical Therapist Assistant Program, as well as an Associate of Science in Exercise Science. She is a personal trainer licensed by ISSA (International Sports Science Association) and is certified in Personalized Blood Flow Restriction Therapy.

Brittany began working in the health care setting at Presbyterian Hospital, followed by working at Elite-OSM as a Rehabilitation Specialist. She has experience working in outpatient orthopedic settings, as well as working with developmentally disabled adults and pediatrics.

When she isn’t working, Brittany enjoys music, hiking, and off-roading with her family and friends.
