The Fire Suppression Division of the Bullhead City Fire Department is dedicated to combating fires and responding to related emergencies. This division operates on a 48/96 schedule and is structured into three shifts, each led by a Battalion Chief: A-Shift (Red Shift), B-Shift (Blue Shift), and C-Shift (Green Shift). As the most visible unit of the department, these professionals are frequently seen by the public during their responses to fires, vehicle accidents, and first aid situations. The department emphasizes rapid and safe responses, utilizing advanced tools such as thermal imaging cameras, high-capacity hoses, and compressed air foam systems to manage and extinguish fires efficiently. Operating out of five strategically located fire stations, the Bullhead City Fire Department prioritizes occupant safety and effective firefighting to protect life and property from the impact of fires.
